At Teamkids Centre children will discover an environment flexible enough to allow them to expend their energy in a variety of activities or relax and wind down from a busy school day. They will be cared for by a team of Teamkids professionals who get to know them and respond to each child's needs.
Your Teamkids service offers regularly renewed games and book libraries, arts, crafts and sporting equipment to keep children engaged and inspired. Our service is ‘device' free, except on the occasional vacation care day - instead our varied and inclusive program includes an active daily sporting schedule and great clubs for children of all ages.
Our permanent and stable team is experienced in planning vibrant and creative sessions regularly supplemented by external activity providers ensuring the program is always fresh and interesting.
Centre Educators support the children's welfare and development and our programming is based on the children's interests and preferences along with parent and carer suggestions.
Close collaboration with the school enables us to support major commitments in the community calendar such as orientation, kindy transitioning, academic and arts projects, fundraisers and events creating a holistic approach to care.
The Gordon West Teamkids team supports and cares for children from non English speaking families and those with additional needs in a diverse and inclusive environment. Children who require support to transition between school and the service are also catered for.
During the holidays, we offer a fun and interesting program that works within the family budget and includes centre based activities along with local excursions to ensure the holidays pass with a mix of fun and down time.
